why meditation?

meditation has been the key to a comprehensive life overhaul, touching on personal well-being, family ties, career success, and financial health. no longer does it feel like life is coming at me, but rather things are out in front of me. below are different examples of the tangible impacts its had on my own life.

elimanted my brain fog and inability to get out bed in the morning

train the monkey mind and getting out of my own way

waking up in the morning was a struggle my entire life as long as i can remember. i tried every tactic and trick you could imagine. those would allow me to go through periods of getting up early, but it never sustained. my morning brain fog was so detrimental on my life and made me feel so down that i would wake up exhausted everyday and lacking a zest for life. that has all shifted. i now wake up in the morning and my brain is on fire, ready to take on the day. the more i meditate, the less i feel the need to sleep and the earlier and earlier i keep waking up.

that monkey mind that never stops talking inside has to be trained everyday to remind it who's in the driver seat. if you don't train the monkey mind, it thinks its in charge. this shows up as different saboteurs in your life. the deeper you go in this work, the easier it is to recognize your own saboteurs. so every morning, i remind myself that i must sit and train this monkey mind to allow for, "jesse" to get out of the way and let the flow of the universe to do its thing without me getting in my own way. life is much easier this way.

surrending to the flow of life 

it's amazing that the more i sit and meditate, the more that gets manifested in the real world. and conversely the more that gets created in the external world, the more i prefer to sit and meditate. daily engagement in a spiritual flow state, boosting creativity and having so much fun in life. i went from owning one business to five in a matter of months that eventually formed the holdco i own. abundace flows to me without me forcing anything to happen.

my perception of time has completely slowed down

prior to meditating consistently, life felt like it was moving so fast. my son was growing up before my eyes. i felt like i never had enough time to do anything. i would get so overwhelmed that i would end up doing nothing. once i began meditating for 65 minutes consistently that shifted entirely. my perception of time transformed completed. no longer does it feel like things are coming at me, but instead things are out in front of me. i can put energy towards the different priorities in my life and always return to my inner home. life feels so slow. this is the greatest gift i can imagine for a parent of a young child as i enjoy every moment that much more. it no longer feels like time is slipping away.
